- About Me:
- A 17 year long Doodle owner, rescuer, and rehomer, I have three Doods of my own, and lost my oldest, Posi, last summer. Goldendoodle, Trac, Chocolate Austrailian Labradoodle-Gypsy, and silly black and silver, Gus...a Labradoodle who was in 4th stage congestive heart failure when I "pulled" him from a shelter in GA for IDogRRR. Yes, another foster failure here. Ooops, I'll have to continue below.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- In addition to my Doodles, I have three rescued cats, and a swearing Cockatiel rescued from a bar many years ago. I am fairly recently retired after a long and wonderful career.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder, Shelter, Rescue
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I had no idea what my late Posi was when I rescued him from a no-kill shelter in FL, he was just adorable and tied to a Palm tree and my heart went pitter patter. It was my Vet who identified him as a Goldendoodle. That is how I came to know and love these kids.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Watch them play, take them for walks, take them to the Bank where they get biscuits from the teller...they love, love to ride!
And, to just be with them as I am reading or writing.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do, and sometimes a groomer.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Cowboy Magic Detangler and "sheddies" antlers for their chewing pleasure (instead of my shoes!)
