Need help with crate training

- Goldendoodle male named Perry. He was born 4/30 and we just got him on 7/16.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I liked everything I had heard about doodles from online and also talking to other doodle owners in person. I have allergies and I thought getting one might be our best option, although I was prepared to take medicine daily. I also take allergy shots.

Poor Perry- Attacked by burrs

Perry is now 4 1/2 months and this morning was attacked by burrs. He's had the random burr every once in a while that we were able to get out, but now he has hundreds. They are around his face, around his eyes, in between his pads, the poor guy.
Brian and I worked on it for an hour and have finally relented. He's going to a groomer in a half hour. To get shaved. We've been careful with brushing and getting him used to it and now his first experience at the groomer is…
