Hope you and Ollie are doing well. I was wondering if you could help me out a little? I found your post three weeks ago, regarding your efforts to contact Almond Blossom Doodles, and eventually deciding on The Paw Pad Doodles. You have no idea what a relief reading that post brought me. I'd gotten in touch with the lovely folks at Almond, too. Even exchanged a few emails with the two sisters. My husband and I even filled out the application form and emailed it to them. But we did not know where to put down the deposit, so we emailed them again, asking them for a link. Three weeks passed, and we still did not get an answer. I tried sending them a few emails again, but did not get a response. So, absolutely frustrated, I searched for reviews. To be honest, it was your glowing comments about The Paw Pad that made me get in touch with Christine. And you were absolutely right. She's wonderful. She responded right away, and has been very regular and prompt about her responses since then, thereby building my confidence that she is the best choice of breeder for us.
Suffice to say, we just mailed our application and deposit to her, for a pup in the spring/summer 2013 litter. We're super excited, except for one thing. Do you happen to know which airport she will be flying the pup to and from (since you happen to live in the Bay Area, too)? And what flight did she use? How many hours did Ollie have to go through in the cargo? How was he after such a long flight? I worry that my future pup will be scarred for life due to the trip. Would you give us the lowdown of how things worked out for you guys? Also, how much did it cost?
I would appreciate any information you can give me. Hope Ollie's skin rash has improved! Happy Thanksgiving!

We live in MP too! When Ollie is ready let's get together. Lots of Doodles go to Nealon Park, mornings 8-10.

Thanks for the speedy reply! for some reason I didn't get a notification in my email yesterday so I just saw your replies now.
Ollie sounds like a happy puppy that wags his tail all the time :) I almost got the last available girl from Carlee/Packer but someone got her before me.
I think we'll still fly to Chicago then drive down to pick up our little girl. 2.5hrs of drive shouldn't be bad, we drive up to Seattle (about 14hrs one way) a few times a year.
Thanks for much for your info. I'll send you a private message for my contact and hopefully we'll see you and Ollie sometime soon :)
