About Me:: My sister Kathleen and I (Gail) live together and have two Doodles we love very much. We also love to vacation in the Caribbean:)

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: SYDNEY is our Australian (7+9 generation) Labradoodle. She is 9 years old.
OLIVIA is our Australian (2nd+3rd generation) Labradoodle. She is 8 years old.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We wanted a small/medium sized dog, with a gentle disposition. A NON- SHEDDING dog was a high priority for us.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We like to play ball and frisbee with them. We like walks in the nearby park. We especially love to cuddle with them. Since we learned about the Doodle Romps, we love going to the beach with our Doodles and meeting other Doodles and their owners.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Yes!, Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: "Doghouse Bakery", thanks to Marianne (with OZZY and ZOEY) for her recommendation!.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Orijen kibble and Orijen freeze dried treats, Zuke's and Zoey's (little paws) healthy treats, Kong toys with treats, Kong tennis squeaky balls and colorful harnesses and leashes. Our double "Les Pooches" brush works wonders for our wool coated Doodle, Olivia.

Relationship Status:: Single

I always go out with olivia doodle and sydney doodle in the yard as I want to pick up their business as soon as it hits the ground. Well last summer as I was picking up one of my doodles poo's, my olivia doodle the cream colored one ran over to me foaming at the mouth.....it looked as though she swallowed a whole bottle of dish or laundry detergent. I freaked out ran to the door screaming for my sister to bring her inside. After she was inside I looked in the middle of the yard and curled up…

At any rate although I live right near the Madison, whatever it was, pet resort I don't know anything about it unfortunately. I sent my dogs to a woman who lives all the way up in Highland Lakes. She was an assistant to my trainer when look up first came to me. She is excellent but quite far. I'm always thinking I need to find somebody so that I can, for instance, go into the city for a day. But I never have done so is yet so if you do use the place in Waldwick I would be very interested in hearing feedback. Good luck with your search.

I joined this site for that support! We are very attached to Dexter….he is a huge part of the family..i hold no grudge with him at all…but the breeder….oh the breeder! The one who swore he was going to be fluffy and wavy, and not shed…..her! Yes i hold a huge grade with her. The shedding has got a bit better, or maybe i am just getting more used to it. Your two doodles are so cute! They seem to be best buds!!! Thanks again for reaching out, our stories are so similar! I wish breeders would be honest with the people they are selling to, it would make the experience a lot easier for everyone! Thanks again!!

Usually, there are so many activities and other people their age there and once it becomes their new normal and they settle in, many people grow to love it there. My mom was here over Christmas and got the flu and OMD, I was beside myself with that mess and trying to clean everything up and that was only TWO days. I was a nervous wreck, so I admire the sacrifice you and your sister made on your mom's behalf. Your mom wants you to be happy and healthy. I hope you enjoy your vacation. We are going on the Doodle Cruise in October. Are you thinking of going? Please try not to feel guilty. Your mom is safe and at a place that is equipped to handle all of her needs.
