- My husband and I are retired. We have not had a dog in 9 years and really missed having one. We wanted one a little larger than we had in the past. I think we got a sweetie but she is a handful right now. We are training her with the help of a neighbor dog trainer. This girl really keeps us moving!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- A Black Goldendoodle....her name is Lizzy Lu. We got her when she was 4 MO old, our first doodle. She is our only pet.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We researched for months. We also wanted a low shedding breed. We loved the look, size and traits of the poodle and Golden Retrevier.
We looked for months to rescue without success. We happened upon Lizzy quiet by chance.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- She loves to ride around in the ATV at the ranch. We also have a huge back yard which is her favorite.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I keep her combed. She just got her first cut by a groomer. She is such a pretty girl!
