About Me:: I enjoy being in my flower beds and with my dogs as much as possible, but when inside I like crafts... Sometimes, I like being with me family :-0 My husband and I have been married 20 years. He has two daughters and I have two boys. When the children were little everyone called us the Brady Bunch, but now we're new grandparents. Our youngest daughter and her husband had their first baby, Reagan, in March. They live five hrs away and don't get to see them often, but we do get pictures daily of her. I have one son in graduate school and one who is a senior. He is living his american dream, playing baseball in college. I retired in May and have really enjoyed being at home with the dogs just hanging out! I always wanted to get a Doodle when I could be at home fulltime--I hope things workout for us...

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I finally got my first Doodle! We've named her Gracie, she weights 5 lbs and will be six weeks old tomorrow. Her birthday is 6/01/09. She is too cute! I just love her to pieces! She is adjusting great to her new home. Sleeping in her crate most of the night and has not had any accidents in her crate-yet. We have 2 toy poodles, Kaci & Kodi, brothers, that will be 8 yrso 8/26 and one cavachone that will be 2 yrso 10/15.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Their beauty, personality and intelligence...and the love I have for poodles!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Play and love on them the most! I like talking to them and watching them stair at me and turn their heads like they just know what I'm saying. If I could just read their minds we could carry on a whole conversation... :-)

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I groom my dogs

Favorite Doodle Products?: I don't have one yet...

Grooming the 1st Year

Has anyone heard you're NOT suppose to cut a DG's hair the first year? Gracie is going through some coat changes and has long and short hair. I've thought of trimming her coat "some", but really hate to cut her "puppy hair" off. I''m not sure what to do...HELP PLEASE :)
