- About Me:
- I live in Bangkok, Thailand. Chewie's my first labradoodle, but not my first dog. My first dog was a Mut-a-doodle name "D-Dog" (Yes, I named her myself when I was 3 years old). My 2nd dog's a golden retriever name Busoh who passed away in Feb 2010 at age of 10. Then came Chewie :)
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Chewie is a chocolate Australian labradoodle. He was borned near Melbourne Australia and flown to Thailand at 13 weeks. He's now almost 2 years old and a great bundle of love and fun.
Chewie's other names: Chupoop, Chuko-jung, Chocopoop, Coco, Coco Beans, Coco Puff, Chewie Kablooey
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My husband has mild allergies/asthma, so wanted an non-allergic dog with a retriever-type temperament :)
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Taking Chewie to the shops, to the park, to the dog pool and to watch my husband compete in Triathlon.

Chewie got bit in the face by a labrador who was off-leash today :(
It happened at our weekly Obedience class. The labrador (name Tara) belonged to a former student of the class and the owner brings her here pretty regularly and she's always off-leash. I've seen both of them a few times before. Chewie even played with Tara 5 minutes before the incident.

Just wanted to pop over and say hello! I believe our gorgeous Labradoodles are from the same breeder? Chewie is from Crystal and Duffy is that correct?

Hi Kimmy, I just wanted to thank you so much for your hospitality to Sophie while she was in Thailand. She got home two days ago but I haven't spent enough time with her yet to hear all her news. She tells me that Chewie is adorable and that he was groomed so he has flares LOL. I hope that one day we can reciprocate in some way...if you ever decide to visit Ireland. I know Sophie will be in touch with you herself soon. Very best wishes and Doodle hugs for Chewie too : )

Hi Kimmy, great to hear that your Dh came second, saw some of your great pictures from the event. Chewie's eye looks well healed, I can't see any scarring from that bite.

My daughter is working as a teacher in Singapore, finishing up in a couple of weeks and traveling to Thailand and Vietnam before she returns home to study nursing. Kimmy, I hope Chewie is recovering well. I think you must have got a terrible fright, it's something I am always worried about. About the 'zoomies', It seems like the same thing, spurts of energy that lasts 10-15 minutes in the the evening, I call them Zoomies as he zooms around the room!!! I'm not surprised that they are similar as I am sure they are related, they look so similar too and I'm sure if we went back in their ancestors we would find a link. Riley wouldn't fight with any dog either, he loves all dogs and people no matter who or what they are and I have never heard him growl at anything.
