I've been called "Ellie Mae" (from the Beverly Hillbillies) ever since I can remember. I have always found or had dogs follow me home. I like dogs better than most people that I know. Dolly is the first dog that I have actually chosen. I just love her to death.
I'm really enjoying reading about and getting to know people that are as dog crazy as me.
Dolly and I live in Florida with my husband of 24 years, my daughter's 2 chihuahuas and our 3 pretty much adult children moving in and moving out at various times. I'm a REALTOR in SW Florida where the housing market is bottoming out and there are great buys to be found. I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and work at a nursing home 2 days a week with people that I really love.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Dolly is a F1B from Mcdoodles.com
Dolly is smart, affectionate, cuddely and the cutest thing I've ever seen
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
As I've mentioned, I haven't usually chosen dogs; they chose me. So when I found that I finally had the opportunity to pick what I wanted, I did a lot of research. Although I wasn't sure I was ready, I put in my application on a waiting list and was called much sooner than I expected. Dolly is exactly what I wanted.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Dolly and I love to walk. We walk about 3 miles every morning. Dolly enjoys cooling off on the top step of the pool afterwards. We also enjoy hiking when we go to North Carolina.
Oh no...don't untag...that is way too much work. I'll just try to remember which are yours.
You can use all the tags you want that are not slide show tags...tags that describe your photo.
If you go back to the discussion about how to get your doodle on the front page slide show...toward the bottom it talks about tagging.
If you tag your photos: cream, goldendoodle, f1b, Dolly, ... etc... those are all great because then someone doing a photo search for "cream" will find your beautiful Dolly. Or someone looking for goldendoodle will find her too. It also makes it easier for you if you have tons of photos eventually to find one you are looking for if you have useful tags. You can tag with the word 'swimming' for photos of her swimming or 'spring' or whatever is relevant in the photo.
Hi Leslie! It looks like you tagged almost all your Dolly photos with "fibgd" LOL -- remember for future front page slide show submissions to only tag 1-2 photos with the tag word because I can only use so many photos from one person (so that everyone has a chance because only 100 photos can fit). And when I make the slide show I can't always tell which doodle is which.
Hi Leslie - your Dolly is so cute!!!! Do you ever go to any local doggy parks? We're located in Bonita and have recently discovered the Estero doggy park. Where are your photos taken in NC? I'm a native from Asheville and it looks like familiar territory. Can't wait to take Wally to the mtns so he can romp and see snow sometime! Cathy
The pigtails are courtesy or my girls, poor Dolly. I can really see why you couldn't resist Jack. Who could? I can't imagine why he would have been at a shelter. What a lover! You can almost just read his eyes (or I think I can as crazy as I am).
