- I'm a lifelong critter lover and am luckily married to someone who is the same. Live and work in Columbus, Ohio. Love to cook,garden and of course play with all of our furry kids.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have a Goldendoodle rehome(Got her last Thanksgiving) named Lizzy, a MiniSchnauzer named Sammy and they are Great Buddies. Both are 2 years old. We also have one Linx point siamese named Chanel who is 16, a Feral rescue named Maggie who is 13 and two new adoptions, Callie(a calico) and Biscuit(a tabby) who are brother and sister. They were born in September. So our little house is quite full with love and affection for 6 critters.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Rehome
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Was introduced to the breed by a friend and had been looking to rescue ever since. Thought their wonderful personality would be a good match for our sweet schnauzer. They act like they have always been together.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Playing fetch with tennis balls in and outside and cuddling on the couch
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I brush her regularly and have groomer come to the house every 6-8 weeks.

To all of our friends on this incredible site-we have learned so much in the past year from reading and sharing-I am just thankful that we had this resource to go to....we will continue to share our limited knowledge and ask our many questions but, all in all, thanks again and enjoy your families and your doodles-we ARE so lucky to have them! Doodle Rescue

For any of you who wonder what happened to the Doodle rescue collective, it's still out there. It just has a new name --www.doodlerescueinc.ning.com. ; Go there and reconnect. If you have any questions as to why the site went down, contact any member of the Board of Directors and they will be more than happy to clarify any rumors you may have heard. AND, let's keep rescuing those "Doodle Bugs"!!!!!

Rufus is doing well. It just breaks my heart though that Lucy and now Sophie are being such butts ..... they do it every time, so guess I should be surprised. It doesn't phase him though. He just goes on about his business. He really is a big ole goofy boy. When I take him outside he just jumps (all four feet at once) into the air and turns a circle ...... So far I have one application for him that looks pretty good and I am leaning in that direction. He would be heading off to New Jersey if that is the case. I'll let you know. Let me know about the vet records because I wanna get him to the vet and need to know if I need to get any shots.
