- ~edie is an aussiedoodle from doodlesville on the nc/va border
charlie, a mini aussiedoodle from the same wonderful place.
i also have 3 kitties.lily,buddy and abby.
all three of our border collies went to the rainbow bridge this year.
rest easy, tess,jac and cap.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- i have always loved the herding breeds.i have seen a number of doodles over the past couple of years and found them to be cheery,smart beings. when i found out that doodles now have a "herding branch" with the addition of australian sheperd genes, i could hardly believe it. through the mysterious process the spirit uses to unite is with our animal companions, i found nancy and doodlesville.

- watching the two of them wear each other out!! and then...lots of snuggles :O)

Diane (Ringo) let me know you live in the Baltimore area and also went to Doodlesville for Edie and Charlie. We live just outside of Annapolis. We used to attend the Annapolis area doodle romps but never ran into anyone else with the Doodlesville connection. So I was glad to see this group on DK. Snickers is a labradoodle and is almost 6 now. His father was Bailey, a cream/white standard poodle and his mother was Shannon a chocolate lab. At the time we got him I don't think Nancy was breeding Aussiedoodles. Anyway, we love Snickers and we're so glad we got a doodle. Before that we had a chihuahua - quite a change! Do you attend any of the area romps?
