- I am a lawyer by profession, employed full time, married with one son (age 15 in 2013) and a one-year old doodle.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Female blue merle Australian labradoodle named Zoe, born February 2012, from Stargazer. She is a small medium, around 25 lbs, funny, exuberant, spirited, naughty. Likes to play fetch and tug. Loves children --developing a wariness of strange adults. Not too sure about other dogs. Likes to run with smaller pups.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Temperament, nonshedding coat. My last dog was a chow, and while she had a wonderful disposition for a breed not known for that, the hair was EVERYWHERE.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Play fetch, long walks, chase games, snuggling, doing "circus dog" (she walks on her hind legs like a circus poodle if you hold up something she wants)
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major, Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Groomer
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Toys that squeak! Preferable chewy rubber or plastic, since she loves stuffed toys but usually dissects them and removes the squeakers. Large 5-section stuffed "Invincibles" snake with 6 large squeaker sections. Planet Dog toys, with yummy minty smell.

Glad to hear Mocha has a cousin in PA. Zoe is gorgeous. Mocha has a similar merle coat but brown like Rocky's. His mom is Jewel, a cream colored doodle with a more poodle-like nose and hair. Mocha has his first birthday on March 31st! Have to throw him a party!
We just switched Mocha off the Diamond Natural small breed puppy food Mary Pool of Stargazer recommended. Mocha rejected the hugely expensive Orijen food I bought. I'm going to order Diamond Naturals small breed food for Adult dogs to mix with the Origen to get him used to it.
We just had his hair groomed by Jay Andor, of Hydrosurge fame. He sheared him down to 1/4" since his hair was so matted. Mocha looks great shorn. His markings really stand out. He looks like an Italian Spinoni/ Irish Water Spaniel with it short.
