I am a first time puppy owner. Our only other dog was a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix and was a rescue at age 2. Puppydom is new to me.

Aussiedoodle. Her name is Pippi. She is a red tricolor 14 week old Aussiedoodle. Actually, I am not sure if she is a tricolor or a parti. She has two shades of red and white. Her dam is a true red tricolor miniature Australian Shepherd; her sire is a mini white poodle.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We love Aussies and Border Collies, but wanted a "non-shedder."

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

After just having her 2 weeks, we are still learning things to do, but the running in the yard is great.!

Update: 6 mos. old now. She loves to run circles and long walks. She brings us her chosen toy of the moment and wants to play fetch. She has completed puppy kindergarten with us and we are planning to go to Adolescent Antics next, then maybe beginning Agility....?
