Profile Information

About Me:: I am a mother a grandmother and a new wife. We have 4 adult childern and 2 grandchildern and 2 labradoodles. We hunt, fish, ride motorcycle and enjoy the out of doors!!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Pierre is our 13mo old male, he is blonde/aprcot. He loves to play and run. He has learned to hunt ducks and will retrieve anything (school is a very good thing)
Piper is our 9wk old female, she is red with a white star on her chest. We hope she will be as easy as Pierre has been. We owe good dogs to all the folks at "That's My Dog" in Hazel Green WI. They are the best!!! Both our Doodles are F1's

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We wanted the best of both breeds and a hunting machine!!!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Be out side, and training. Snow, water, fall, winter, spring summer, whatever the season the more time we ALL spend out side the better

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Our breeder showed us how to do it

Relationship Status:: Married

At 7:20am on May 18, 2009, fergie11 said…: Good luck with CGC. That was an easy one for Fergie. We did it the same place as her obedience classes are so she just thought it was another day at school. The TDI test was at a totally different place and very strange to her. It was more challenging - we did pass but it was iffy i think. Lucy just started puppy school and not doing the best. She'll be 16 wks on Friday. She's young - I just have to remind myself of that. Life will be so much easier when she gets trained to stay in the yard. It will come - I know.
My husband really wants to try hunting with Fergie. Pierre is a LD right? Would a GD be good for that? She listens very well and likes to chase birds. Was Pierre ever gun shy? I spose there's a trick to training them that.
