What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I am the lucky owner of two australian labradoodles:
Darwin, born Sept 2008
Chance, born January 2011

Darwin the biggest sweet-heart of a dog (in a medium sized body). Chance, the 8 month old puppy is feisty, vocal, and outgoing. It looks like he will grow up to be a mini (<25lb). Less fur for grooming :-)

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Darwin was my first dog, so I did a LOT of research before committing. I think doodles are the ultimate breed in many respects - if I could make a breed from scratch, this is likely what I would end up with.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Patrol the neighbourhood, visit friends, hike, and train. Darwin loves the ball, and has a big bag of tricks he uses to get me to throw it! Chance is also turning out to be toy-motivated, but in his case by his tug toy.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I do all their grooming. Thank goodness they are so laid back.

Do you have Darwin on a table? I might need to get some tips from you when it's time to cut his fur. Do you use clippers for the coat and then scissor his face?

(I know you have two but the brown one is just a pup). I have not yet cut his fur because winter is approaching however I plan cut his coat for next summer. I hope he doesn't look too silly. My breeder actually wrote out a written agreement for the groomers to sign to agree to leave the head and tail long and NO POODLE cuts!

Her mom was a parti poodle and she is slowly turning silvery brown (if there is such a thing). Thank you for the nice comments. Enjoy DK. You have the second Darwin that I know of on this site.
