How did your puppies react to their rabies shots?Ruffie has been lethargic and not eating for a day after each of his puppy shots, and I am worried about how he will react to the Rabies shot.Continue

The vet moved Ruffie's birthday up a month to August 7th, 2014, after noting that he still had a full set of puppy teeth, along with other things. There was a suggestion in one of the discussions that neutering at 2 or 3 months could delay loss of puppy teeth. Any thoughts on this? I see the Vet in a month for rabies shot, so plan to ask what he can tell me about this. Any knowledge to share on this matter?

At first obedience class, the trainer was impressed. Ruffie learns quickly. Told her I wanted to get a Therapy Dog certificate eventually, and she thought Ruffie was well suited to it.

Skip and I are in Riverside but would be glad to give advice etc. We have a rescue ourselves and are involved with the DRC and pull dogs from shelters and transport, so we have some experience with shelter dogs. There are a few who live somewhat in your area that I can think of. Helga is one and Mardu (she is on the DRC site) are two. Both have fostered shelter dogs.
