Cricket's Noodle Toy!

This is one of Cricket's favorite toys!

Its a fabric-covered pool noodle! (The fabric is so she won't EAT the noodle, hahaha!)

Our Treat just had Honeymoon with our new stud, Romeo.

I prefer to breed naturally, but there were weather restrictions to ship our girl to the stud especially this time of the year.

AI is an another option, but weekend and holidays are a pain...

We suddenly decided to purchase Romeo from a breeder in Australia.

He came to the U.S.A. on 2/24/09 which was Day 12 for Treat.

Phoebe's Home

It was a struggle but she is finally here with us and we are loving it. She got in after midnight this morning(not on our planned flight)--we are all bleary eyed as we played for a little and then she despised her crate so she barked the entire night save for 45 minutes. She is such a precious angel though--chocolately fleecey fur anf those amazing green eyes. My youngest is home sick today and he is having the best time with his new puppy. my baby dexter & new grover boy

i'm so sorry for being gone so long. i've gotten a new baby doodle, YEAH!!!! but my dexter has blown his ACL in his back leg and i've been so stressed about the universe ever since. grover is such a blessing! he always makes us laugh and hes a snuggle-monster! he constantly plays with stewie, thank goodness! since dexter HAS to rest since his surgery. he doesnt like to rest, its so hard constantly telling him to calm down. i know my surgeon is going to clobber me when dexter has his 6-8 week… Continue

Still Waiting...8:30pm

There was a snag in the plans caused by the ice storm that hit AR so we are still waiting for Phoebe--she should have arrived at noon today. The new flight took her through Houston with a two hour layover. We are all wrecks here--but I am bouncing off the walls. My oldest is so disppointed that the children will only have a little while with her before school tomorrow. My youngest--who woke up with a fever this morning as if the Phoebe delay was not enough to contend with for a Sunday… Continue

Our visit to the Detroit Kennel Club Dog Show.

I've been wanting to go for years and was finally able to. Originally just Alyssa and I were going, but my husband got called into work this morning, so Aaron came too. He was less than thrilled, but did end up having a good time. We saw so many beautiful dogs! Some very fluffy, some HUGE and some very umm...unique looking.... Attack

Last summer we were on our boat and anchored out overnite the next morning Snickers and I went to shore collecting firewood.This boat came in with a dog on it no big deal (playmate) we thought. So Snickers and me continued getting firewood. Toys

Snickers,loves getting new toys.When I come home from shopping she stands up at the counter looking in the bags seeing if there's anything in there for her of course there is.She is like a kid on Christmas morning happier then anything.She only plays with that toy for days. When we go to bed she'll go down in the family room grab it and take it along to bed so we just don't have her in bed we also got a toy there too.Snickers has three apple crates filled with toys.She has alot that makes… Continue

Lizzie is HOME!!

Lizzie has made it home! At almost 11 pounds and 12.5 weeks old, she is a solid, happy, puppy!!!! She's super energetic and playful! It's a totally different dog! (Well, she's still as sweet and is a total cuddler!)

As soon as I get pictures uploaded, I'll post them!

Thanks again to everyone who gave me advice and support over the last month.

Doodle Daddy Update

First I'd like to thank all the prayers out there -- it really helps. Jess loves his doodle and she is getting into everything....her way of wanting him home. The excellent team at Mayo is working hard around the clock on Jess. There is less "hovering." Kidney function has been back and lungs clearing, although still not great and more fluid removal is needed. The ECMO (heart lung support) will be turned down on Monday to see what his heart is doing.… Continue
