Bixby Foster Doodle is leaving today on the first leg of his journey to his forever home. A few weeks ago, I had Callie's portrait professionally taken (a local pet photographer had a fundraiser and reduced her cost greatly and had you bring in a large bag of dog food for the Atlanta Humane Society). Last night, I got home to discover that my air conditioner had broken at some point yesterday afternoon (I had been home at lunch time to walk the dogs and it was working then). By 10pm the inside of my house was 82 degrees.
