Late Breaking News Flash for GA Fall '09 Romp This Weekend

News Flash from the IDOG Georgia liasion about this weekend's romp. Due to all the rain we have had another change in venue.



Ok, hopefully this will be the LAST change in plans for the Doodle Romp!



First of all, the weather reports all seem to agree that it will be raining Saturday morning. That has not changed in several days so I am taking a leap of faith that the weather on Sunday will be better. So SUNDAY IT IS!

Third Opossum Enounter this Summer...

Friday night between rain storms we took the opportunity to let the dogs out one last time before going to bed. About 5 minutes later one of the boys let out that distinctive beagle bay that lets you know they have found something. My first thought was ‘Oh Sh#*!, what have they found now’. I grabbed a leash and the flashlight. The flashlight revealed that all 3 dogs were standing over something and barking madly. When I got to the dogs I discovered a young opossum laying scarily still. Well That Didn't Work

Harlow is still getting car sick whenever she goes for a ride which is at least 2 to 3 times a week. I was researching on the web (and DK) for natural remedies for preventing car sickness. Several articles mentioned fresh ginger or gingersnaps. So today I tried the gingersnaps. I used the gingersnaps as treats while we practiced our obedience. Harlow the Doodle Ambassador...

I am so proud of our Harlow. Yesterday our ‘Edward Jones’ guy (I can never remember his name) stopped past the house to deliver some financial information for us. This was the first time he has dropped by the house since we brought Harlow home. He was very fascinated by Harlow; asking all sorts of questions and ooing and awing over her as she stood behind the glass storm door.
