My Quincy doodle sleeps on the hardwood floor at the foot of my bed. He occassionally gets on the bed but rarely stays for more than a few minutes. He has his own comfy bed in my room but he rarely sleeps on it. The thing is I feel bad that he sleeps on a hard floor and worry that it might hurt his joints. I guess I am comparing how I would feel if I slept on a floor. I think maybe he just likes the coolness of the floor. Am I being silly? Tonight I put a quilt on the floor for him so we'll see…

Just came inside from a romp in the snow. Went out to go potty and stayed out for almost an hour. We are in the middle of a blizzard so it has been an inside day. When we got outside it wasn't so bad so stayed to have some fun. The bad part is now we have one wet snowbally doodle. Oh well, it was worth it.

Does your doodle cruise?Going around the house looking for trouble to get into? Quincy is a terrible cruiser, he goes from room to room looking for something to chew or eat. We no longer have throw pillows on the couch, there hasn't been a roll of tiolet tissue on the roll for months. My floor mats are all missing sections of threads and no piece of paper is safe. I've recently started cross country skiing with my boy Quincy. We do most of our skiing at a local camp ground where the ski club keeps the trails groomed. He has to be kept on a leash at all times. He does really well most of the time. He is learning not to pull me(although sometimes its fun). He especially loves the downhill sections as he gets to run all out. The problem is that when he gets excited he grabs the leash and pulls me sideways. He's pulled me down a few times but nothing serious…
