dog parks unpredictable!!

I have loved every minute of the new dog park experience up until today. My dogs always have a great time, but today was a challenge, to say the least. One male mini-poodle apparently spends all his time at the park mounting the other dogs...male, female, moving, standing still...doesn't matter! Awesome Christmas gift

I got a wonderful "doodle" gift from my brother-in-law this Christmas. He is an excellent photographer with tons of equipment and a large format printer. He took a picture of my red LD this summer and played with it on photoshop so that it's all in grey tones on a white background--very abstract, but a lovely portrait of my cute little pup! He printed it in a large size and framed it for me! I will try to take a picture of it for all to see.

first day at our dog park

The girls and I had a ball at the dog park we "discovered" when we went to the Humane Society fund raiser back on October 10th. There were about ten dogs there (this is a very rural area, so that is a lot!) and there was another doodle and a poodle that got along great with my two dogs. They just loved running around with all the dogs...it was a great success. Can't wait to go back!

It started out on a bad note when I saw a woman with a dog that looked a bit "doodle-ish". I had already met a lovely Australian labradoodle (like my… Continue
