We moved into our house at the end of the year and thought some of you would like to see Snicks new digs. He LOVES the deck, we have dubbed him the captain because every morning he goes out on it and looks over the lake.

He also loves looking out the big dining room window…

Saturday was Snickers 2nd Birthday, we spent time at the dog park and mom made him homemade Bow Wow Brownies. I was fortunate enough to take a dog cookie cooking class earlier this year and this is definitely one of Snickers favorite treats so it made sense to make them for his birthday.

My DH picked me up from work today, it so happens my office is near our dog park, as I went to meet the car in the parking lot this note was stuck to the passenger side window with this picture.

My mom was very sick yesterday, my dad said it is something called the stomach flu, she did not look good at all. 

Towards the end of the afternoon she went to her crate which is a lot bigger than mine and closed her door.  I didn't know what to do, I sat outside the door for 2 hours waiting for my mom to come back out. 

Finally I knew what she needed...TOYS! They always make me feel so much better, so I went downstairs and brought up 3 of my favorite toys for her to…

So my mom and dad have been trying to teach me to come when this loud sound comes out of this toy they put in their mouths, I think they call it a whissle. I have been doing pretty well, coming in from outside when the noise happens and my mom is there waiting with a piece of carnivore crunch YUM...Well today we went to the dog park, I found this really cute Standard Poodle to run around with, she was fast but not as FAST as me. So mom wants to get my attention and she blows the whissle…

Carriage HIll Kennel in Glenview recently built an indoor doggie pool. We decided to take Snickers for a lesson since they were offering $15 off the first lesson. The idea is to first get the dog interested in the pool an later do group lessons. As you can see from the pictures he had fun although he was a bit hesitant at first!

He even did a come when called-water…
