It snowed overnight! I am getting so excited. Thanksgiving is next week, my tree is up, I have bought Darwin a bunch of great Christmas presents, and it snowed. Yay! It started snowing last night and we woke up to about a foot and a half, deeper in some places. It's the first big snow of the year so I knew Darwin would be excited to play in the snow for the first time... I am editing some videos to upload in a bit of him playing in it. But for now I'll just show you the aftermath...

And the aftermath of the snow itself... I don't know why this snow was so heavy and destructive but it was. Does 1 foot snow usually do this? Several trees at my complex have been broken.

Dawin...
About how to open the gifts this year??
Just give them the "Very Cute...Puppy Dog Look"!! Lol...
I'm sure you still know how to do it??!!
It's kind of the same one you do...you know...when you're about to get in trouble!! Hahahaha!!
It works Everytime!!
They will not only open the gifts for you...but...probably give you some treats...a belly rub...and let you go outside to play in the snow too!! Lol...
Let me know how it works for you...
Sasha...
P.S. I have a sneaky feeling that you might be getting a new snowsuit from the SantaDoodle!! I wonder if I'm right??

We don't get much snow here but I'd LOVE to see him playing in the snow like what you have. This is on our deck this morning. He plopped down and had a little meal of snow for breakfast!

Sasha, there are presents for me under the tree and I'm excited. But I'm so confused about what to do with them. They trained me not to tear or shred anything, then last year they put this gift in front of me and just sat there. Hello, I don't have thumbs, I couldn't open it! I refused to tear it because I know that is bad. So I just sat there and stared at it for a while. They ended up opening it for me and it was yummy treats. What should I do this year? - Darwin

Wow...Look at ALL of that SNOW!!!!
Darwin...You Look Like A SnowDoodle To Me!!
It's pretty cold here...I'm in N.J...not in S.C...and we're expecting some snow on Friday!!
Maybe I'll get a chance to go outside and play.
My Mom can't wait to go to S.C. for Christmas...and...it will be a lot warmer there!
I'll probably get to go in the lake then...That Will Be Such Fun!!
I can't believe you have your tree up already!!
Are there any Doodle Presents under it?? (smile)
If there are...let me know...
I'll teach you how to open them...and your Mom won't even know you did it!! Lol...
Hey...one last thing...You know that tree that was broken in the storm??
You might want to try climbing it...
You know...kind of like Bocca did...when chasing the squrrel!!
You could even have your Mom take a picture of you...and put it in the book she's making!
Let me know if you get a chance to do that??
Well...have to go for now...
Talk to you soon...
Your Friend...Sasha...

Camilla...my SIL has a second home in Heber City and sometimes we fly over for a few days but never with Gracie Doodle. We usually come in the Spring and play golf though. I would love to take her places but refuse to put her on a plane...she is a big girl! We have a neighbor who flies for AA and he has told us some stories none of us want to hear about dogs in the cargo hold!
