I absolutely love having TWO Doodles!

I always felt bad when I had to go to work and leave Chiko at home all day by himself. I was always rushing home so that I wouldn't leave him for too long. He is such a people dog and loves to have company. So we thought another dog would be good for him and us (one each to cuddle on the lounge). I absolutely love that we have TWO Labradoodles. We have had Lacey now for nearly 4 weeks and they are getting along so well. They just love each other. Ofcourse they love to play fight but then they fall asleep cuddled up next to each other. She fell asleep last night cuddled up as close as she could get to his back and put her tiny little arm over him. Was so cute. I was watching them yesterday then I shut them outside so I could study and they were as happy as Larry, wandering around the yard together investigating things. She follows him around like a big brother. It's very, very cute. They are great fun. So I was a little unsure if we we were making the right decision, but now I am very sure, TWO Labradoodles is definitely the way to go.

Faith, I new you and Rob would never look back. Having two is fantastic. Yes they play together and they are great company for each other and yes you don't feel as guilty when not being there and YES (the best) is that you each have one at night. We miss Fudge terribly when she goes and has her puppies but it is all worthwhile in the end. I just think of the families that are eagerly awaiting a puppy as were you and us at one time.

How inspiring to read all the comments on 2 dogs. We are getting our second Labradoodle in less than 2 weeks. Magoo is 2 and is our first and Summer is 3 and coming from the same breeder. Quite anxious and well as nervous!

Adorable!! I am also planning on getting a second doodle for all the same reasons. Now, I am more anxious than ever! Although I am not sure how I will squeeze them both into the kayak!

How sweet! I just recently got doodle #2 too! I love having 2 myself! More snuggle time!! I had to talk my husband into it for about 3 months before he finally said yes! You mentioned they play fight. Do they growl and does it ever seem like they are "really" fighting?? I am asking as mine "seem" like they are really fighting! They get along but when they play they fight! I never have seen them play nice! I talked to our trainer about it and she said one cue that they are actually enjoying it is if they both stay, if one runs away or tries to get away then you know they are really fighting and one wants out. I just wish they would play nice sometimes, alright actually always! Any suggestions from you or anyone out there would be appreciated! Thank you! Nicole

We also believe that dogs do better when there are more than one in the house. They are not as lonely when their humans leave and they always have someone to play with.

We only have one Goldendoodle, but have four Maltese. Holly thinks she is a Maltese and they get on fabulously together. Holly seems to know her size and doesn't play too rough with her little friends.

Holly also adores our cat but, the feeling is not totally reciprocated. He tolerates Holly and will occasionally play with her but, would rather be left alone.

We feel no guilt in leaving the five dogs and the cat at home for a couple of hours.
