Have a funny one. Last night my wife went down to put Riley to bed for the night in his crate. Room was dark. Riley, came in after doing his nightly duties. He normally goes right into his crate, crate door is then closed and locked. That is the only way he likes to go to bed. Well, he must of zigged left and did not go into his crate. My wife assumed he was in the crate and locked the door. We couldn't figure out why Riley was barking after being put to bed. After and hour of my hollering at him to be quite, wife went down to check the situation out. There he was in the room, and locked out of his bed. Wife, can not believe she did that, and wondering where he was in the room when she thought she had locked him up! She is still chuckling today!

What's a sleepy doodle to do?
When my was here watching Jack and of course she had Molly, She was so tired and exhausted. She was getting the dogs ready for bed.... Molly sleeps in a crate and Jack does not. My mom always puts Molly to bed at 8 pm, she is on the nose with it, so as Molly was snuggling with me at 9 pm in my bed, I finally got up thinking something happen to my mom.... I go into her bedroom and ask her where Jack is. She was so confused and tired she put Jack in the crate, locked him in, and Molly had run of the house..
All she said was, I was wondering why Molly was crying....
lol
Luca and Calla are usually only in their crates when I'm not home. I often lock Luca's crate to keep his food from Calla. He will sometimes vocalize in some way to make me realize he would like to get to his food : )
Too funny! Poor Riley--locked out of his bed!
