It's hard to believe that Kai is five months old! Our latest adventure was the dog beach in Long Beach. He wasn't sure what to think of it at first but then he loved it!
We just got back from vacation in Aruba. Kai spent the week at "camp". We use a place in El Segundo called Greatful Dogs. There are no cages (The dogs sleep on dog beds in rooms with a person and during the day the run around the facility, they even have pools for them!) and everyone their is so nice. Kai met with the training while we were away and learned so much. Tonight we start group puppy class with the same trainer. Kai loves her!
I am still off work following shoulder surgery. I have a third and hopefully final surgery scheduled for late December. Kai has been the best therapy. Suddenly being unable to do what you have done your entire life can be upsetting. I am so happy to have him as a companion and a distraction during this time. He is such a mellow puppy. We are so happy with him.

Hope you heal quickly. It is nice that Kai can help you feel better. Greatful Dogs sounds like a great doggy camp. Such fun for them.

Doesn't time fly???? I would just love to have a doggie camp somewhere not toooooo far away. Lucy would love it. How lucky Kai is. I'm sorry to hear of your shoulder problems. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
