Kai is four months old!

Kai has been home with us now for eight weeks. He has grown so much! When he arrived he was 6 pounds today he is 16! It's been a busy time here. He has gone kayaking, swimming, hiking and walking on the strand.
Now that he is four months old we have added the dog park and doggie day care to his list of things to do.

He is housebroken, knows sit, down, crawl & speak. He is a champ with his poochie bells. Sometimes he plays with them, does anyone else have that issue? He walks on a leash and even sits at the corners. He comes when he hears his name and the clicker. What all of you said about Doodles being smart is so true! Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions on what to have on hand when he arrived, you certainly helped us make his transition easier!

I am taking off tonight for a week in Rhode Island, my niece is getting married on Saturday. I know Kai will be fine with Keith and a day or two at daycare. I am guessing I will miss him more then he will miss me. (With the shoulder surgeries I've had I am not working and Kai has been my near constant companion since his arrival.)

He's adorable and sounds like he is doing amazing. Our Dood is 13 weeks. When did you start the Poochie Bells...and any advice? We just bought some but need to bite the bullet and start.

Hope you have a safe trip and enjoy your niece's wedding. Sounds like Kai will get along great with Keith and doggy daycare, I think Kai will miss you, and will be very excited to see you when you come back home.
