A Meeting with Adelle!

Samson met his first relative. My mother in law and my neice stopped by the campground today. My mother in law is in LOVE with Samson (Samson visits her retirement village apartment every once in a while) and she just thinks he's the greatest dog! So, when my niece visited and brought her new puppy Adelle, she could not wait to get them together. Samson has not met many dogs yet. And has not had a play date with one, or has never gone to a dog park. He just recently met 3 dogs last weekend and was so kind to them. So....we stopped by my house and had them "play" out on the deck. Now, Adelle is 3 months old and she is a mix of a Rhodesian Ridgeback and pitbull. She is adorable and very cute and small. Samson is very very tall and very large, about 75 pounds. This was comical. At first, Adelle did not bother with Samson and Samson was intrigued with her. He followed after her and just looked at her, like "what is this?" After Adelle checked out the deck, she started to want to play with Samson. She put her rear end up and bowed and started jumping up at Samson's face and long ears...then started jumping and wanting to play. She came at him to play and he was very confused! He backed away constantly and she just kept coming!! He never once growled at her, or snapped or anything! His tail was wagging the whole time! We picked up Adelle quickly before she jumped on top of Samson! It was sooo cute and funny!! To see Samson running away from this small dog...and looking at me like "mom...help!" I had to get back to work anyway but Samson was sooo good with her, I was surprised! His temperment is so sweet....she was a little pip squeak! I was proud of Samson for being so kind to her...he is my boy!!! Just goes to show you how sometimes, these doodles are so sweet.

Sounds like another Kind, gentle, warm hearted doodle!! Just like mine....having dogs like these ones is one of the best things that could happen to a family. We are lucky ladies!Good boy Samson...I just love that name!
