A warm place to rest his head - An amazing gift from Laurie, Fudge and Vern!!

Our very dear friend Laurie has got to be one of the kindest souls I've ever known. When I mentioned that because of Winston's expensive vet bills I'd have to put off getting him a new bed, Laurie immediately sent me a message saying she would like to buy Winston a new bed. I was blown away by her kindness and generosity! I gratefully accepted her offer and we went about the complicated task of picking out the perfect memory foam doggie bed. I finally found the perfect bed and we ordered it from ebay, and then began the seemingly endless wait for it's arrival ...

 

Well it's finally here. Last night, while I was spending a nice quiet Friday night in:

 

 

 some very curious doodles and a kitty had a field day with the box ...

 

 

Who needs a new a bed when there are boxes to play with right? WRONG!

 

The new bed is a hit!

 

 

I think he likes it!!!! And, it's big enough for a good doodle snuggle with little sis ... even if she does like to hog the bed

:)

 

This very special doodle boy has gone from napping in holes in the dirt alone in a back yard and sleeping alone in the basement at night to a nice big warm luxruious soft cushy bed where he sleeps secure and comfy with his new and REAL family. 

 

 

I can honestly attest to how comfortable and cozy this bed is. I forsee many nights of warm cozy sleeps and many lazy afternoon naps will be enjoyed on this bed for years to come.

 

 

 

Laurie, you are the absolute BEST! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Winston and I are so grateful :o)

Laurie is absolutely the best! And don't worry, Winston likes sleeping in the new bed the best. He only comes up on the bed when I ask him to, i.e. for photo opportunities with a few snuggles thrown in. He doesn't really like sleeping up there which works out well for me and my future love life ;-)

What a wonderful person you are Laurie!  I think all of us have taken Winston (Winnie) to heart but you took it a step further...a new bed for Winnie!  I love the happy ever after story Sherri.  He looks absolutely amazing and like he has always lived with you, Sophie and kitty.  What a happy family.
