Ok - So most nights Takoda sleeps in our bed. There is the occassional night where he does not come to the bed to be picked up and goes under and we don't hear from him till the earrly moring when he wakes me up - about 6:30 AM to be brought into bed to snuggle for the remainding time till we get up.But then there is the ever so chaotic nights that he does sleep in our bed and he turns into a wiggleworm. When the wiggleworm kicks in he seems to move about into a different position every 5 to 10 minutes and most often believe it or not he chooses to lay just over your head on top of pilllow and get his face right next to yours. Well, last night there was way too much movement and about 2:30AM he was put on the foor to go somewhere else. I awoke after a good night sleep to have the house cluttered with toys and stuff from his midnight antics. I swear some days he does a personality shift out of nowhere and you just can't figure him out. I don't know if this is another puppy personality shfit or he just had ants in his pants. AllI know is he is going to be too big soon to be sleeping on my head like a cat...

Harlow likes to sleep above my head too. Good thing I like to sleep with my feet tucked over the end of the mattress as Harlow is 50 pounds. She likes to share my pillow and when she wakes up she will lick my face.
I got lucky! Camus use to sleep on my bed and 82 lbs. is a lot of dog to share a bed with, especially since he does not curl up. When he woke up in the morning (early) he would start by laying his head on me and I could of sworn that his head weighed at least 60 lbs. If that didn't wake me (or I didn't acknowledge him) the next step was to use his nose to flip the covers off me, still no reaction from me he would then curl around my head! That would do it and I would get up. However, and here is when I got lucky, he has changed his ways and now jumps up on the bed to get his night-time treats then jumps down and goes to his bed. Hurray!!!
Riley starts off at the end of the bed and then moves underneath where he stays until 7am when he jumps up right on top of me and snuggles/licks and finally gets between us and goes back to sleep. When he was little lying on top of me was no problem now 55lbs later it's a little more difficult but when I look at him and he has his paws wrapped around my neck all I can do is smile. : )
Takoda is such a baby but I think I would confine him to a smaller area and not let him have full access to your home. Perhaps close your bedroom door or crate him in your bedroom.
Tigger sleeps at the foot of the bed until mornng - then he comes and sleeps like Takoda does on my DH head. Then DH gets up and I get Tigger on my head!
We have one Springer Spaniel ALWAYS on the foot of our bed, Ned also on the foot of the bed for most of the night - he moves off and on, but we make Clancy sleep on the floor or doggy bed by ours. Three dogs on the bed would be too much. Early in the morning Ned gets antsy and jumps all over us, carrying a toy and chortling. This was cute when he was little but he is 4 now and it is very old and annoying.
