Elmer and Elsie, the two junkyard digs turned video stars with 425,565 views on their rescue video by Hope for Paws https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyzb_9l5NXg&list=UUdu8QrpJd6rdH...;,  met their wonderful furever parents yesterday. Their mom and dad flew in from the Twin Cities in Minnesota to San Diego to meet and adopt this super pair of siblings. Today the junkyard/video stars flew back to their new home in Minnesota, wearing new jackets to keep them warm.  Their mom and dad booked first class seats for the trip home so Elmer and Elsie would not be cramped.

More good news came from Elmer's dermatologist.  Elmer had been losing some hair and we were deathly afraid that the cause was cancer from that terrible junkyard where they were living.  However, the biopsy indicated no cancer and the loss of hair can be remedied by some readily available medications.

Their new mom and Judy cried when we left them.  Best of luck to these two darling dogs and their furever parents.

Great job Richard and Judy. Looks like these two are going to be seriously pampered pooches.

Sweet!  Your little guys (or guy and girl) look very much like my little rescue, Zeppo.  He was picked up from the streets in Martinez and was a mess.  I am so glad that Elmer and Elsie found a good furever home together.  You are such good people to help out so many dogs.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

This is such good news.  My sister-in-law found a pup in a dump that had been shot and left for did.  She had her quite a long time and was a great dog.
