Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

As most of you know, on May 31, 2016, my beloved Paz crossed the rainbow bridge after his courageous 6 month battle against canine lymphoma.I decided the best way to honor Paz's amazing memory, was to get another labradoodle puppy who could be trained as a therapy dog that would continue Paz's amazing work with young crime victims. After much research, in July, I placed a deposit for a puppy from a planned litter that was being bred in July.  I am excited to announce the litter was born yesterday, a total of 8 babies, 5 males and 3 females; the puppies are caramel in color and will be very large labradoodles like Paz. When the puppies reach 7 weeks old, a professional trainer will evaluate which puppy will make the best therapy/service dog, and that puppy will be mine! I am going to name the puppy "Atticus" after the lead protagonist in "To Kill A Mockingbird." My grand daughters and I will be flying to North Carolina on November 12 to get the puppy who will begin therapy dog training immediately. I am posting pictures of the litter that was born yesterday and will keep you all posted with pictures.

Such beautiful babies. Yellow collar baby makes me smile with his facing the opposite direction of the others.

And now the hardest part will begin......waiting!!!  I'm so happy for you and I know Paz is smiling down on these puppies!  I honestly believe that Myla was so easy to train because my beloved Zak was guiding her from the Rainbow Bridge!  I hope your breeder sends you lots of pictures!  I absolutely loved my breeder, but pictures and the internet were definitely not her specialty!  You must be so excited!

These are all beautiful babies.  Congratulations.  You have chosen a strong name for your puppy which will serve him well.
