Jett's new Daddy picked him up yesterday. Jett was very calm and relaxed when they first met. Things will now return to normal around here, but it sure is quiet. Here is a picture of Jett with his new Dad and Dad's Nephew Brennan (I hope I got that right). Jett wasn't real excited about getting in the car, but when you figure his last car trips were to the vet to get neutered and to be surrendered to the dog pound, I guess I can understand. I'm sure this morning he is having a wonderful time with his new doggie brother Bowden! They have already joined DoodleKisses so you will see updates posted under Randy Wagner.

Love the picture of you and Jett. I think he's off to a great start, thanks to you.

Wonderful news that Jett has gone to his forever home. What a lucky family they are to get him...cause he just has a sweetness about him that comes across in his photos. Thanks so much for letting us know and I am sure you will miss him.

You know, even DH commented that morning that he didn't think Jett ever looked better. The timing was perfect in that I took his neuter stitches out on Friday morning so I was able to give him a bath on Saturday morning before Randy came to get him, and he just looked really great after his bath. He had filled out a little while he was here, so that helped some too! The first foster we had was a little high energy and was very jumpy (always jumping in your face), so he was a little bit of a challenge. Jett on the other hand was just loving. He would occasionally jump up, but not very often and when you told him no, he stopped. But he was a gentle boy and would just lay that head in your lap or on your chest and you just felt his love! DH took this pic on our last night, and it will always be one of my favorite reminders of his time with us!

Wow - this is exciting. Jett looks so beautiful in this photo. I am sure it is too quiet around your house!

After a foster goes to his/her forever home the house always feels a bit empty for a few days.

Congratulations to Jett and Randy, and hugs to you for caring for Jett while he was waiting for his new dad! I can't wait to see updates on Jett's adjustment to his forever home!

I love your porch!! We finally have one but nothing on it yet. I just may put rockers out here too. They look so warm and inviting!
I am thrilled that Jett went to a wonderful home!! Nothing better then that feeling.
We are back to a 2 doodle home, too! I had Theo, now named Gus, here for 2 days before he went to his forever home. Sometimes you know the right family once you meet the doodle.

Oh, you're lucky. Guinness's urine never killed the grass, but Murph is another story. His urine is "deadly".
