Bella has been with us for one month now and it's definitely getting better around here! We have gotten the potty training down pretty good, she has gone to the door since about her 2nd week here (12 weeks old). She hasn't had an accident for over a week now, so that's been nice. We have been wiping her with baby wipes after she pees and she will even lift her back leg for us.
She has learned to stay away from the trash, and bathroom wastebaskets, and sometimes can even walk by a sock on the floor, hardly nips at me unless we are playing, sits and waits for her bowl to be put down and the signal "OKAY" before touching it. She will "wait" at an open door, and is just starting to figure out that I go in before her. She has endured endless baths and flea-combing from her flea-a-fobic owners and is even letting me trim her coat with scissors without trying to bite them anymore. She knows where the treat bags are and what it sounds like when the freezer door opens and comes running with either sound.
She has figured out that no matter how good a treat is, cheese, turkey dogs, yogurt, sweet potatoes and fresh cooked salmon..there could possibly be a pill or vitamin of some sort hiding in it and how to eat the treat and NOT the pill.
She can finally go in the car without vomiting up her last 3 meals, and even though she still shakes a little, she has stopped crying and whining while she rides. She can "LAY DOWN" so fast we can hear her belly go "plop" on the floor and she no longer cries when she is let into her pen when we have to go out.
So we have made some really big progress in a few short weeks. We can see more and more of her personality and she definitely has one!
I am learning so much from my big brother Murphy. He told me if I sit here nice that some treats appear out of no-where. And he was right.
I heard my mommy say something about a brush. Do you think she'll find me if I hide under here?
Murphy is the best big brother!
