What was life without all this love our Brady Goose has brought?   This little guy is my baby.   L o v e   him so very much!    At 6 mos. he is (touch wood) finally house trained.   Gotta say, he's been very slow in this area but so quick in others.    He is a dream boat at night, just as he was the very first night with us.... quiet as a mouse and doesn't make a sound until he's spoken to in the morning.   He has slept in very late ... until 10 a.m. on occasion!    Over the summer we had visitors with their 9 mos. Doodle pup visit at the cottage .... they played so well and Brady just followed him (CharlieBear) around outside and watched him swim.   Brades is not keen on the water .... and has yet to actually swim...we put him in a life jacket while we were at the water just to be safe.   He seems to adjust to just about any situation quickly and is happy just to be there.   Car rides are a breeze.   I travelled with him to Montreal when he was about 5 mos old.,  sat in passenger side puppy bed without a peep the entire way there and back!    We have also had a German Shepherd pup (8 mos.) here at the house visiting overnight twice and Brady was good.   Seemed to be guarding us and his toys a fair bit this last visit but hopefully he'll be o.k. in the future.

He was neutered at 6 mos and the second we walked in I introduced him to a pair of 'shorts' that replaced the awful cone the Vet prescribed.   To my amazement, he adjusted very quickly and spent 4 days in them .... rarely going at the surgery site.    We are heading out this weekend for his first  Doodle Romp here at Lansdowne Park.   I'm just hoping it isn't too soon after his surgery .... his friend CharlieBear is coming to join us then back here for a meal.

I haven't done any 'heel' training during our walks and am now regretting that.   I may purchase the 'gentle leader' leash harness and see if that will slow him down a little.    Every Tues. and Thurs. Brady is so lucky to have a little 9 yr. old neighbour come to take him out.  She loves to train him over in the park  - and Brady LOVES her to the moon.   He gets beside himself with excitement every time she comes.   Little love bug!!

Sounds like Brady is doing great!  I agree with Jennifer - we want to see pictures of his first Doodle romp.  Have a great time.... and be prepared for a tired doodle (always a bonus)

Sherri ... Brady and I ARE going to the Romp on Saturday - Lansdowne.   Not too sure how many are coming to Lansdowne (the majority seem to like Bruce Pit).   Anyway - we certainly look forward to meeting you as do Marianna & CharlieBear from Kingston who are joining us.   We will be there at 11 a.m.    Hope you guys are too!
