Ciao to Gio!
Gio flies to Venice, Italy today with the breeder--we are all nervous but excited. He is such a good boy--almost housebroken and knows some Italian already! I will feel so much better when he is back on the ground. It is sad knowing that I will never see him again, but I look forward to hearing about his future adventures.
Presto went to his forever home last Friday and has a great big brother named Rocco, who is a gentle black lab. His name is now Memphis and he is doing really well. Here are a few parting pictures and Litter number 2 is now HISTORY!!

It's good to hear that Gio/DJ made that loooooong journey with no problems! Was he able to ride in the cabin? I'm sure he will be melting Italian hearts everywhere he goes!!!

It is pretty quiet, but my son is home from school--that helps! I have gotten texts from the breeder that Gio--now DJ is doing really well and made the trip with no problem!! Phew!! They will love him, I am sure--he has personality plus and a cute little swagger!
I am turning my attention to planning the big New Year's day birthday party for Rio! A whole year already since that first litter--I will try to get pics of all 5 of the boys for a birthday photo collection!

I am going to live in Italy for 3 months next summer. And, I am taking my doodle. So we know there will be at least 2 doodles in Italy. I am going to Lucca.
