Coco Chanel has a new forever family.

I have been holding off posting this but then I saw that Coco is showing adopted on Petfinder. And it is true, she has a wonderful forever family that is driving from upstate New York to Atlanta to pick her up. They will be here next week. Coco will have both a doggie sister and brother. She will be able to romp and play with them on 3 acres filled with lots of good smells.

Coco's new family says that their other dogs ration their kisses so they are excited that Coco is one kissie doodle. I have forewarned them that any bare feet Coco sees, Coco washes. She especially likes the toe area. If she can't give you physical kisses she will kiss the air in your general direction wagging her tail the whole time.

Coco's is our fourth doodle we have fostered through DRC (http://www.doodlerescuecollectiveinc.org/) and she has been an absolute dream of a doodle. She has the kindest, sweetest, calmest (gee I wonder how many more -est I can use) personality I think I have ever experienced. And we have one more week that we get to spoil her and be recipients of her wonderful doodle kisses.

Another happy, safe doodle because of you wonderful people! What you all do is truly amazing and rewarding, and I am sure pulls heavy on your heart strings! She is going to be so happy. We live on Long Island but often travel to upstate New York. Most of us New Yorkers migrate south to the Carolinas and Florida after retirement, but this Long Island girl (NOT that I would ever leave L.I.) would go north ~ it's just so beautiful - especially during Fall! Good luck Coco - you're gonna' love it there!!!
