Do you have tons of silly nicknames for your Doodle?

We do. And I'm guessing we're not the only ones. Here's what we routinely call Mazie: Maze, Mazie Doodle, the Mazinator, Mazelah, Munchkin, Moo-Moo, Crazy Mazie, Lazy Mazie, Mazie-Doodle-Half-a-Poodle. Come on, guys, 'fess up! What do you call your Doodles besides their "given" names?

Wow...too funny! We have some of the same names for our Gracie who is an Apricot Goldendoodle. Gracie Doodle, Gracie Doodle One Half Poodle, Doodle Noodle, Noodie Doodie, Munchkin, Munchie, Lambie, Lambie Pie, Gray Gray, Baby, Muffin Head, Lovey Bug...and I am sure there are others which I can't recall at the moment.

I also call Max Doodlebug and Knucklehead although that was more when we first had him.

I mostly call Oski, boo-boo, altho sometimes people think his name is Oski-boo-boo because I tack that on as well. My hubby goes all out calling him DD which changes depending on what mood he & the pooch are in: ditzy doodle, dastardly doodle, deadly doodle (when he's particularly gassy),.... It's a fun game :)

Max is Maxidoodle, MaxiDo, Maximum Pain in the A**, Mad Max, Maximum Speed, Dirt Devil (for the speed that he digs holes).

I don't know how I started doing this but I sometimes call Tia Tia burger. I also call her TT, doo doo, mutt, baby girl, I am sure there are more but I can't think of them right now.

We call Cooper: coops, cooper-pooper-scooper, coopy, bubba or bubby.... I don't believe you can ever own a pet without calling them silly names...let's face it, they can't tell ya not to! :)

We have tons and tons of nicknames for Fenway. I think my husband is the king of nicknames and he's always calling her something else. She's been called Fen, Finland, Fenny Poo, Roach Lips (she ate a roach when she was a tiny pup ewwww), my Lamb, Fen Fen, and The Monster (after the Green Monster at Fenway Park). She also gets called other names, but these are the most consistent. It's just too funny to play with their names. My brothers labradoodle has the same thing happen to him. His name is Duke and the call him Dukey Doodle, Dude, Doodle Boy, and tons of other variations. Maybe its a doodle thing!

I forgot one of Mazie's nicknames: John calls her "Ugly Girl" but in a really sweet tone of voice. He does it just to provoke me, of course. I always retort that she is "Beeee-yooo-ti-ful!"
