We Love Our Golden Doodle!

- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have one, black, male golden doodle named Cooper. He was born August 16th and we brought him home October 22nd. We also have 2 cats (both all black...not sure what the deal is with us having 3 all black animals) named Bear and Mogley. They seem to be getting used to Cooper......

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My uncle has two golden doodles and said they were the best dogs...We also wanted a smart dog and one that didn't shed. I have always loved Golden Retrievers but the shedding stopped me from getting one. I think this is the best combination...once we get him trained.

- Nope!

Golden Doodle Owners...Is there a difference when dad is golden or poodle?

Hey friends...
I am curious if it matters the combination of the parents on how the dog turns out. My uncle has two dogs one with a poodle dad and one with a poodle mom and our Cooper has a poodle dad. I just wondered if people have an opinion on if it matters and if so, what have you found the differences to be.
