i haven't decorated them but duncan tasted one of each and he approves. The plumpkins are softer and the snickerdoodle-poodle-poos are crunchier!

I'm going to be trying a frosting of peanut butter (no sugar or salt added) and low fat cream cheese tomorrow...

Yay! I added a smidge of applesauce to the snickerdoodle recipe because the dough was a little on the dry side. Next year i'll tackle a good hardening yogurt or carob coating. This year i made a mess and they are now in the freezer until ready to be distributed or they'll melt/spoil. I blended cream cheese low fat and natural peanut butter. Looked good, tasted good. Just gets oily/soft and will spoil if not kept in the freezer. Good thing my friends and their furr baby's aren't picky.

Sally I made both of these cookies today and they both get a big paws up from Quincy. We only had christmas cookie cutters so we have stars and bells, Quincy doesn't seem to mind.

the cookie cutters came as a "kit" along with the recipe book.

They look great, be sure to keep them out of reach or Duncan will have a full belly. Happy Holidays!

They look awesome! I might try these. I think they would be cute in the dog bone shape, with half of the bone dipped in carob... :-)
