doodle central today

Duncan and i tagged along with my niece and nephew and family today for some trick or treating and got to meet 2 other doodles that came from the same breeder as he did. My brother's dog is also from the same breeder and i guess it's all word of mouth in that neighborhood.....Cody was a larger chocolate dood and maggie, a 6 month old miniature red. oh boy i was all smiles. I have to say i think i am a doodle snob. I don't get excited to see non-doodles. And i'm watching a friend's golden retriever here for the week and just can't bond with her. I feel bad.

well here's a little video of duncan (as a turtle) on a mission to find some howl-o-ween treats.

Wow, I'm impressed these doods weren't afraid of the trick or treaters. Sheila kind of was.

[Nancie & Gracie Doodle]

Our trick or treating didn't start until after dark in our neighborhood. Gracie Doodle played on the front lawn while we sat on the front porch greeting the kids as they came up the stairs. Gracie loved it. We were out there for 2 hours and she had her ball which we would toss in between kids arriving. Next year I have to remember to try videoing. I could see Duncan speed up as you approached the kids. Doodles love kids!
