Doodle Daddy, Two Months Home

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Jess has been home for a little over two months. He is making the best with what he has and continues in his cardiac rehab. He will have a defibrillator put in on the 9th. So far we have been keeping him safe. He is happy and we are managing to get back to old routines, adding Mayo trips and rehab to "routine." If there is any couple who can make a date out of going up to Mayo, it is us!
When we talk to friends, Jess ALWAYS brings up the world-wide support from Doodle Lovers and the cards he received while in the hospital. As long as Jess is maintaining, he stays off the transplant list. We are taking in movies, shows, and socializing. We feel confident we can continue with our annual beach trip. The last three weeks have become easier, as Jess is building stamina in rehab and feeling better.
While Jess has been the focus, I am afraid I have become a little idle in our dog training…

By the time we get back to Chandler, in October, Jess may be up to taking Phoebe to a Romp. I am hoping to help get some organized then. Glad to hear from you. P doesn't look so wild, unless being on the sofa is a no-no!
