Doodle Diary, Day 1

Brittany and I arrived at the airport 10 min. late due to a GPS snafu, and ran full speed towards the Continental ticket desk, stopping only to snap a few pictures. When we got there, the clerk lifted up the crate and said I could take her out(so I did of course!) She seemed a little nervous, but let me hold and snuggle her. Once out of the airport we pulled over and gave her some water, and she peed. Then, it was home we go, almost strait home...(I simply haaaaaad to stop at the Outlet Center in Lake George!) Once home, Sable was quickly introduced to Vanessa, Grandma Louise, Cousin Alex, and "Daddy" (AKA, Bob, AKA DH). Another hour later Laila woke up, another hour later Abigail came home from school and she got to meet Papa Guy! Toby and Cody (our two BIG Labs were not too impressed, Cody growled and Toby walked away, completely uninterested) After the kids chased her around and tormented her a bit with some nice hugs, I put the girls to bed and decided that Sable needed a bath! So in the sink she went! I cuddled her on my belly with some towels, in my sling, (only a mama would do such a silly thing!), and we both fell asleep on the couch till Daddy came home from milking cows. After one more trip to potty outside, in her little crate/kennel she went! No whinning at all! And....she slept soundly until 6:30am when I got up to go pee!
