doodle romp Saturday--with a shaved doodle!

I will be a bit embarrassed to bring my Lyric--she has a nice big, fluffy head and a very skinny shaved body. I think my groomer sees one mat and shaves the whole dog. She had some mats here and there, but I didn't expect all her hair to be very short! Oh, well, it will grow back! I did ask for her head to stay "doodle-y" and not as short as her body and the groomer did manage to do that.

I am going to try to bring Lyric to the groomer more often so that i can keep up with the mats and just have her hair cut to a shorter length, rather than cut so close to the body.

I retire in just three months, so maybe I can start doing the grooming myself....hope so!!

I took Darwin to a doodle romp right after I had shaved him down. I was sad, because all the other pups had beautiful long coats and Darwin was so short! But doodles are adorable no matter what.

Honestly, I think you can do the grooming yourself. Just by clippers and attachments and it's pretty easy. It's been so awesome and money saving for me.
