Last night I learned what it feels like to have 70 lbs. of doodle blindside you! We were getting ready to go to a dinner theater show last night when I let Yoda out one last time. He didn't come when I called him, and of course I went around the house to find him racing the fence with his buddy the pug next door. When he saw me he started running inside, so I turned back around the corner of the house to let him in.

Suddenly...I'm on the ground. Yes, that's right. My silly dood raced around the corner and took me out like a wrecking ball! So here I am, laying on the ground in my dress, all made up and ready to go out! I layed there stunned for a minute until I figured out that when I fell, my head bopped the pavement and I also banged my wrist and took all the skin off of my palm. At this point Yoda was just standing there looking at me like come on Mom, get up off the ground! I dragged myself into the house where Rick cleaned me up and gave me the first aid and painkillers I needed to head out to the show! We were late, but at least I had my battle scars to prove it wasn't my fault!

Yoda and I are both banged up today because he skinned the inside of one of his legs and is moving a little slower as well. Lesson learned: Never turn your back on a doodle!

Haha don't feel bad! By the time I made it in the house I had tears of both laughter and pain rolling down my face. We laughed about it for the rest of the night :)

I feel terrible because I couldn't help laughing, actually snorting helplessly, while reading this! This is the reason why I always leave Oski's collar with it's loud jangly tags on so I have a sporting chance when he's romping around me! Doodledozer indeed :o}

I am glad you still went to the show...I would have just stayed home.

Oh you poor thing! LOL... at least you still got to go to the show!
Thule almost knocked me out once when I was outside and bent over to pick up a toy ... she was so excited and got under me and JUMPED and hit her hard head into my cheekbone. SCARED me to death!
