Today we had our first really good overnight frost. Oh boy - Toby is pumped! He was racing around the yard at high speeds (zooming!) over, and over, and over. He was rolling and rolling on the frosty grass. He has already been on a walk and played ball. There's nothing quite like seeing a happy dog zooming around the yard to put a smile on your face first thing in the morning! So....lots more frost, but no snow. Sound like a good winter plan? :) Unfortunately, living where I do, snow will be coming....

Neely had his first snow this week. Doodle Heaven. But what makes them winter loving dogs. Retrievers and poodles don;t go crazy for snow like these guys do? But oh what fun it is to sit in the hot tub and throw snow balls to retreive in snow banks. I can' wait to do it the only reason to have snow.!

Up here in Southern Ontario we're lucky we haven't had any snow yet. Toby loved it last year! I'm sure it will be more of the same when we have a snowfall.

We live in Arizona and the moment we get our first "cold" morning (say, in the 40's) it's as though Penny was re-born! She tears around like a maniac with a smile on her face and bounces around like a kangaroo. The one time we got snow (that stuck) she was in heaven. definitely a snow dog! :-)

I love mornings like that! We haven't had a good frost here in Atlanta yet, but Timbow still goes crazy on the cold mornings! I'm sure Toby is looking forward to playing in the snow!! :-)
