Every morning when the world gets up we have our routine. Wake up, bathroom, take the dogs out, rush the children, shuffle the husband, sling a cup of joe that's now cold. I always find that moment to play with the girls. Then I'm off again to be caught up in the routine of life. BUT at the same time every day, seems when I'm at my craziest moment, Zoe comes front in a perfect sit and stares at me with such a pleaful stare.

It makes me melancholy. It's a mom, I know you're getting ready to leave me, please spend time with me, can you love on me on more time stare. It's like clock work. I stop my frazzeled self and talk to Zoe, love on her and my heart just melts and I tell her mommy has to go to work, don't make it harder to leave. I grab a toy and play fetch for a bit and grab the leads for one last potty break and I'm gone. I miss both my little girls.

There is an empty office next to where I am at work. There is a girl up front with 2 yorkies who poop & pee in the building and bark alot. So I thought that my chances were ruined for bringing my girls to work. I sometimes go in that unused office and daydream. My desk here, the girls bed there. There's a door so no escapes, or I can put a baby gate up, either way. A pass through window for drivers to drop off stuff, etc. Ahhhh, one could only hope.

Well, the boss drove Scott home last night because they had to go pick up a truck and I would've had to wait a while. Plus, the boss wanted to "see where we live", so I made him a cup of tea with honey [he's been battling a cold] and we got to talking and all of a sudden, Scott says, yeah, she's been bucking for that office.....I was floored, the boss looked at me and I said the one with all the windows, no need for the lights on, it keeps perfect temperature [some places in the builiding get either stifling hot or vey cold] and then Scott said she could put up a gate and bring her baby with her. Our boss said yes!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy! He said that the guys outside would be coming inside soon, as there is a bit of work to do in there. He needs to fix a window, paint, take down some old wiring etc,. See dreams do come true.....

Thanks everyone! I can't wait till I can actually bring her! She gets along with the owner's dog who is a reaaaaaaallllllllyyyyy mellow lab. Did I mention how mellow he is? The two yorkies she just kinda sniffs them and probably thinks they're fluffy toys since they're so tiny. lol Thanks again for all the well wishes!
