Duncan's getting his energy back

So my boy had a "ruff" night monday with that kennel cough mayhem. We were up until 3am as he hacked and yakked. But yesterday things were so much better and his coughing really only occurred mildly after walks. And by mid-day he wanted to play. His sad eyes turned into happy eyes. I think it was the small tidbit of steak i put in his dish. He polished off his meals. Last night he slept straight through with no coughing and this morning just a small cough again after our walk. I am thrilled with the progress. Of course now I know that he's going to start getting a little house bound soon. Luckily my mom, who has no dogs, said we could take a trip there just so he can get a ride in the car and have some new scenery. I really feel for all the dk owners who have or have had ailing doodles. it's just terrible to see them suffer. Here's a video of him yesterday when he was feeling more like himself.
