Even at 2 Years Old....

Peri can still decide to be destructive sometimes.  I think this picture (although it is dark), sums up her thoughts pretty well.  After a dinner night with friends last Saturday, we came home to DH's legal notes shredded up.  Lucky for us (and Peri) she did not get into some bigtime case files he had boxed up in his office area (which is shared with the dog's playroom). 

 

Sooo, even though they say puppy stage lasts until age 2, that doesn't mean you will have a mellow, non-destructive doodle by then :)

Peri, I turned 2 in January but my mom stays I am just a big overgrown puppy.  I keep telling her if dad would just shut the closet doors, I would stop chewing up her shoes.

I think Peri is just trying to keep you from getting too bored with the good doodle and is adding a little spice to your life.

Huff has been acting up recently (by recently I mean like two days ago). He is going to be 2 in a few months. I just put it down to cabin fever. Could it be the terrible twos? He keeps grabbing things and running with them to annoy us. It is funny but potentially dangerous. It's a good thing that there is usually always someone watching him.:)

Oh Peri...I understand! Get "DBS" sometimes (doodle boredome syndrome) and break rules too. I bet your daddy shreds documents at work all the time. You should just tell him that you were bored and wanted to work too!

I agree with Leslie.

Murphy does the very same thing when he is angry with me. Its fine if I go to work everyday, BUT I better not come home and leave again. That is HIS time.

Peri....naughty girl.  Mommy and Daddy do need to go out and play sometimes too!  Next time you should just take a nap and chill.  You can always drive them crazy when they get home all tired and want to go to bed...more fun than chewing paper.

Oh I agree! Cooper turned 2 a few weeks ago, and since has peed on our bed TWICE, having not done that for about a year!

After Tina's snake story, this doesn't seem so bad now, does it?? LOL   Peri, I see a career in paper shredding in your future if this keeps up. Vern just chewed our rug for the FIRST time ever, so maybe our Doodles are going nuts :)
