First Groom... Shelby was a rock star!

I took Shelby in for her first groom yesterday.... just a puppy groom.... bath, blow dry, razor trim around face and paws, sanitary, ear cleaning and nail trim/grind. I didn't know how she would do. Well, she got rave reviews from the grooming department! They said they would have never guessed that she hadn't been groomed before. Yes, the blow dryer freaked her out at first, but she was fine. Sat still on the table for the razor and nail work! I guess all my work on desensitizing her to people touching her paws/ears has paid off. I have all my friends check her ears and check out her paw pads when they visit. So proud of Shelby!

What a sweetie! Congrats on the good report card. We were thrilled when Ruckus' fave groomer reported he allowed her to use the blow dryer this time (He just turned 1 year and it was his 4th appt). The little things in life! :)
