Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Have to start off with, Riley was a hit at our first session. The trainer said he gets the prize for the cutest dog in attendance. Most of the participants came up to me and asked all sorts of questions: what kind of dog is he?, how old is he, and he is the cutest thing. I took it all in stride, because I all ready knew this.

I can't believe after my sister in law came over today with her golden to play, and playing hours with the grand kids this afternoon until I came home from work and scooped him up to go to puppy class that he had enough energy to last the hour. He did fine, and a lot of people were impressed with his quickness to pick things up. Not bad, for not working with him prior to the class. Now, it is on me to work with him for a week to get him up to speed for next lesson. He lasted two minutes before crashing when he got home.

Glad to hear Riley did so well. We went to our 2nd class last night. Finn is smart but he had to be goofy too. He decided to climb into the big water dish in the middle of the floor.

Glad to hear your first class went so well. It is up to us Humans to show them the way.
I had our PK Human Orientation yesterday. The trainer (who I had PK with Samantha) reminded me of what needs to be done and I had better stop something I forgot - to not chase Charli to get something away from her. Chasing HER is not a safe game; I have to make her learn to chase ME in case she is in a dangerous situation she will know that chasing me is a much more fun, treat worthy 'game'.
Have fun in class and all the work that is ahead of you! It really is a great bonding experience!
